No reservation needed – pop in for a pint or stay for the evening. Dogs welcome, bar snacks on standby and a menu that has a habit of changing your plans.

FAQs
You’re very welcome to join us in the bar for a drink, or before your dinner reservation. Our bar tables are available on a walk-in basis only, including for dining, so unfortunately we’re unable to take reservations for these tables. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you where we can.
We have a fantastic, and varied, wine list available at The General Tarleton. However, if you’d like to enjoy a special or meaningful bottle from your own collection, we’d be happy to serve it with care, subject to a £35 per bottle corkage fee. Please let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing your own wine, you are welcome to bring ahead of time, so that we can have them ready for your arrival.
We have a superb hidden terrace out the back of our pub. We’ve reserved some tables on a first come, first serve basis however some will be bookable online.
We are open for drinks 17:30 – 22:30 (Monday and Tuesday), 12:00 – 22:30 (Wednesday – Saturday) and 12:00 – 19:00 (Sunday). Please note that some bar snacks are only available during our kitchen opening hours.
Dogs are welcome in our bar. We kindly ask that they are kept on leads at all times and off the furniture.We also ask that you clean up after your dog during your visit.
Should your dog bark excessively or display aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or guests, we will ask that you remove them from the premises.
