Bringing some of Fallow’s most popular dishes, including her cult cheeseburger pie, Nokx will be joining Tommy Banks and Aled Williams in the kitchen for our second evening of the GT Chef Series
Hayloft Dinners | Here Comes The Sun

Hayloft Dinners is our monthly ‘supper club’, where up to 20 guests sit round our communal table for a four-course feast centred around a theme. This month it’s titled ‘Here Comes The Sun’, celebrating the best of Yorkshire produce from asparagus to strawberries.
Meet The Producer | Seifried Wine Estate

Our next wine dinner is with the pioneering Seifried Wine Estate in New Zealand. Join Heidi Seifried for an evening of delicious food, paired with some delicious vintages from her family’s wine estate.
Steak Night
Every Wednesday | from 5.30pm
Wednesday’s is steak night at The General Tarleton, where a well-priced steak takes to the specials board. In June, we’re welcoming flat iron and frites, served with a sexy Madagascan green peppercorn sauce for £26.
Fish & Chip Fridays
Every Friday | 12-2.30pm and 5.30pm onwards
Fish and chips makes its grand return to our menu for Fish Fridays. On the specials, enjoy our beer-battered fish alongside chunky chips, nori tartare sauce, mushy peas and obligatory curry sauce. All for £25.
The 5pm Post
Every Friday | 5-6pm
Join us every Friday between 5-6pm for The 5pm Post, named as a nod to our coaching inn history (coaching inns also served as post offices). Be in the bar for 5pm where the horn will sound, our post board will go up, and on it three drinks priced at £5 each.
